Mount Greylock Completes Sweep of Lenox

LENOX, Mass. – The Mount Greylock volleyball team Wednesday swept Lenox to improve to 9-1 this fall.
 
The Mounties prevailed, 25-11, 25-11, 26-24, for their second three-set win over the Millionaires in three days.
 
“Although Lenox had hoped to push the Mounties to, at least, four games, it just wasn’t meant to be,” Lenox coach Steve Laurin said. “Our serving errors did us in tonight.”
 
Celina Savage had 11 kills and a pair of aces for the Mounties, who got six kills, six aces and three blocks from Jackie Brannan.
 
Anna Nealon had 11 digs for Lenox, which got seven assists from Kelly Nicotra.
 
Lenox goes to Mount Anthony on Friday.
 
Mount Greylock is at Chicopee on Friday.
