Meisberger Named County's Girls Track MVP

Berkshire County’s high school track and field coaches named Lenox senior Shannon Meisberger the county’s most valuable player for 2017.
 
Meisberger is joined by three of her Lenox teammates on the all-county roster: Emma Jourdain, Maggie Sorrentino and Ellen Huth.
 
The coaches named Mount Greylock’s Dagny Albano the field MVP and Wahconah’s Victoria Gamberoni the track MVP.
 
Monument Mountain led the league with five members of the all-county squad: Aubrey Blanchard, Meri Powell, Jasmin Johannsdottir, Allison Kinne and Delanie Rybacki.
 
Mount Greylock joins Lenox with four selections to the all-league team: Albano, Madison Ross, Maddie Albert and Elizabeth Bartlett.

 

Wahconah and Pittsfield each placed two on the all-league squad.

 

For Wahconah, Gamberoni is joined by Lily Pudlo. Pittsfield’s Mya Adams and Ailya Bolling made the list.

 

The all-league squad is rounded out by Drury’s Laura Thomas and Taconic’s Lily Lobovitz.
