Von Ruden Pitches Mount Everett Past Mohawk Trail

SHEFFIELD, Mass. -- Nathaniel von Ruden struck out nine and allowed one earned run in 5-2/3 innings Thursday to pitch the Mount Everett baseball team to a 13-3 win over Mohawk Trail.
 
Von Ruden helped his cause with one of the Eagles' two hits, and Mount Everett took advantage of 15 walks and a pair of errors by the visitors to end the game in six innings.
 
Sean Warren had a hit, and Brady Carpenter drove in three runs.
 
Mount Everett (3-1) goes to Mahar on Wednesday.
