Bissaillon, Parker Combine for Five-Inning No-Hitter for Spartans

SHEFFIELD, Mass. – Monument Mountain’s Jack Bissaillon and Collin Parker Friday combined on a five-inning no-hitter to lead the unbeaten Spartans to an 11-0 win over Mount Everett in five innings.

 

Bissaillon struck out 14, walked six and hit a batter in 4-? innings. Parker came on to finish out the top of the bottom of the fifth and end the game.

 

Monument Mountain ran away early with an eight-run second inning to take an 11-run lead.

 

Dominick Velasco went 3-for-4, and Jayder Raifstanger was 3-for-3 with a triple for Monument Mountain.

 

The Spartans (9-0) look to clinch a berth in the state tournament on Monday when they travel to Granby.

 

Mount Everett (7-3) goes to Lee on Wednesday.
