Taconic's Lee Shuts Down Southwick in Regular Season Finale

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Matt Lee struck out 13 in 4-? innings Wednesday as he and Quentin Christopher combined on a one-hitter to lead the Taconic baseball team to a 6-0 win over Southwick-Tolland.
 
Lee gave up just one walk before turning the ball over to Christopher, who struck out three, walked two and gave up one hit.
 
Offensively, Taconic made the most of its five hits and took advantage of three errors by the Rams.
 
Nick Guachione doubled in a run. Damon Pause went 1-for-4 with two RBIs. And Antonio Scalise and Eddie Ferris each had a hit and an RBI.
 
Taconic (15-2) awaits its quarter-final opponent in next week’s Western Massachusetts tournament.
