Taconic Downs Drury

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – Ed Ferris went 3-for-5 with a pair of doubles to lead the Taconic baseball team to a 12-4 win over Drury in a game that began on Thursday and was completed on Friday.
 
Gavin Maffuccio went 3-for-5, and Evan Roccabruna, Ethan O’Donnell and Connor Paronto each had a pair of hits in a 16-hit attack for the Thunder.
 
Quentin Christopher and Paronto split time on the mound. Christopher got the start and allowed one earned run in three innings of work. Paronto finished on Friday.
 
Carson Rylander went 2-for-4 with a double for Drury, which got a pair of RBIs from Connor Hinkell.
 
Drury (14-2) finishes the regular season at home against Pioneer Valley on Saturday and at Lee on Sunday.
 
Taconic (9-8) waits to learn who it will face in the quarter-finals of the Western Massachusetts Class B Tournament.
