Sniezek Leads Hoosac Past Mount Everett

SHEFFIELD, Mass. -- Henry Sniezek hit a two-run single in a three-run fourth inning that lifted the Hoosac Valley baseball team to a 6-3 win over Mount Everett on Wednesday.
 
The rally gave the Hurricanes a 4-0 lead that they never relinquished and made a winner of starting pitcher John Krol, who struck out five and allowed just one earned run in five innings befort giving the ball to Devin Kogut to finish out the game.
 
Sniezek went 2-for-4 at the plate, stole a pair of bases and scored twice to lead Hoosac Valley's offense.
 
Alek Zdzarski went 2-for-3 and scored a run for Mount Everett.
 
The Eagles (5-5) go to Monument Mountain on Friday.
 
Hoosac Valley (8-5) takes a three-game winning streak into Thursday's home game against Lee.
