Cangelosi Pitches Mount Greylock Past Hoosac Valley

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — The Mount Greylock baseball team scored three in the first two innings, and Jack Cangelosi made the lead stand up for a 3-0 win over Hoosac Valley on Wednesday.
 
Cangelosi struck out seven, walked one and scattered four hits in the complete-game win on the mound.
 
Dom Paris went 2-for-4 with a pair of RBIs, and William Galvin doubled for Mount Greylock. Derek Paris went 2-for-3 in a nine-hit Mounties attack.
 
Henry Sniezek doubled, and John Krol and Cole Desroches each had a hit for Hoosac Valley.
 
Devin Kogut went the distance on the hill for the Hurricanes.
 
Hoosac Valley (10-7) hosts Wahconah on Friday.
 
Mount Greylock (9-8) hosts Monument Mountain on Thursday.
