Wahconah Baseball Uses Big Third Inning to Cruise Past Lenox

LENOX, Mass. -- Shane Sinopoli went 3-for-6 and scored three runs to help lead the Wahconah baseball team to a 15-1 win over Lenox on Saturday.

Four different players doubled for Wahconah, which exploded for eight runs in the top of the third to break open a 4-0 game.

Chad Supranowicz (2-for-4), Andrew Beaudoin (1-for-3), Trevor Salvini (1-for-1) and Patrick Butler (1-for-2) each doubled in the win.

Wahconah got four innings of shutout ball from starting pitcher Gage Frazier, who allowed just one hit before giving the ball to Beaudoin, who pitched one inning before Butler finished up.

Wahconah (4-5) has three games this week, starting with Wednesday’s home game against Southwick-Tolland.
