O'Brien Drives in Three in Taconic Baseball's Win

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Michael O'Brien went 2-for-4 with three RBIs Wednesday to lead the Taconic baseball team to a 12-5 win over Wahconah.

 

Christian Womble went 2-for-3, and Dylan Burke drove in a pair of runs.

 

Womble also pitched an inning of hitless relief. Anton Lazits earned the win on the mound, allowing six hits and three runs in five innings of work. Mitchell DeCelles gave up two unearned runs in his inning of relief.

 

Anthony Dondiego and Joe Woronick each went 2-for-4 with a double for Wahconah (2-3), which hosts Monument Mountain on Thursday.

 

Taconic (6-2) is home against Hoosac Valley on Thursday.
