Sheridan Doubles Twice as Mounties Top Wahconah

DALTON, Mass. -- Evan Sheridan went 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles and three runs batted in Saturday to lead the Mount Greylock baseball team to an 8-5 win over Wahconah.
 
Oscar Low went 2-for-4 with a pair of stolen bases and scored twice, and Dom Paris and Billy Galvin each went 2-for-4 with a double in an 11-hit Mount Greylock attack.
 
Joseph Jones got the win on the mound, with three strikeouts in five innings of work. Jack Cangelosi allowed one run in two innings of relief.
 
Kyle Lee and Gabe Verdi split pitching duties for Wahconah, allowing six earned runs between them.
 
Wahconah got a 2-for-4 performance at the plate from Gabe Davis, and Chad Howes drove in two runs in the loss.
 
Wahconah (7-4) goes to Taconic Hills on Monday.
 
Mount Greylock (6-4) hosts Hoosac Valley on Monday.
