Gallagher Leads Wahconah Baseball in Offensive Explosion

CHESHIRE, Mass. -- Quinn Gallagher went 4-for-4 with a double and a pair of runs batted in Wednesday to lead the Wahconah baseball team to a 27-3 win over Hoosac Valley.
 
Wahconah pounded out 20 hits in the five-inning win.
 
Scott Dman was 2-for-3 with a triple, and Owen Alfonso went 3-for-5 with a double and a pair of RBIs. Shane Bernardo and Braedyn Melle each had three hits.
 
Ben West went 4-⅔ innings on the mound, striking out 10, to earn the victory.
 
Hoosac Valley got RBIs from Matthew Szabo, William Hakes and Caleb Harrington.
 
The Hurricanes host Mount Everett on Thursday.
 
Wahconah (3-6) hosts Monument Mountain on Friday.
