Jayder Raifstanger, Monument Baseball Edge Wahconah

DALTON, Mass. -- Jayder Raifstanger went 3-for-4 with a home run, a triple and five runs batted in Thursday to lead the Monument Mountain baseball team to an 11-10 win over Wahconah.
 
Raifstanger accounted for half of the Spartans’ hits as they took advantage of five Wahconah errors to score five unearned runs.
 
Owen Wade earned the win on the mound with 5-⅓ innings of work. He struck out six.
 
Marco Buffoni, Arthur Labrie and Braxton Crandell each had a hit in the win.
 
Zachary Archambault homered and tripled for Wahconah, which got a home run and a double from Shane Bernardo in an eight-hit attack.
 
Wahconah (3-7) is at Mount Greylock on Friday.
 
Monument Mountain (6-6) hosts Mount Greylock on Tuesday.
