DALTON, Mass. – Patrick Rindfuss just missed hitting for the cycle in Saturday’s 9-0 win over Wahconah.

All he needed was the single.

Rindfuss had a home run, a triple and a double in the game, which was a continuation from a contest stopped by rain in April.

He drove in five runs for the Generals.

Will Kinne and Chase Racine each had a pair of hits in a 12-hit Pittsfield attack.

Connor Lavinio and Cam Sime split time on the mound, striking out 14 while walking just two while allowing only three hits.

Patrick McLaughlin, Owen Alfonso and Ethan Orsini each had a hit for Wahconah (6-9), which hosts Granby on Monday.

Pittsfield (8-8) is at Taconic on Monday.
