Mount Greylock Baseball Earns 10th Win

SHEFFIELD, Mass. -- Cal Messina doubled twice, and Brandon Condon went 3-for-6 with four RBIs Wednesday to lead the Mount Greylock baseball team to a 22-5 win over Mount Everett.
 
Eli Ostheimer went 3-for-3 with two RBIs, and Nick Rondeau drove in five on a pair of hits for the Mounties, who jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the top of the first and never looked back.
 
The Eagles rallied for five in the bottom of the fifth to cut the deficit to 17-5 and force a sixth inning, but Mount Greylock added five more in the top of the sixth.
 
Nick Robitaille went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI, and Patrick Silk doubled and drove in two for Mount Everett (6-5), which hosts St. Joseph on Saturday.
 
Mount Greylock’s Cole Wojtkowski struck out four and allowed one hit and one walk over four innings to earn the win.
 
The Mounties (10-3) host Mount Anthony Union on Friday.
