Mount Anthony Baseball Holds Off Mount Greylock Rally

BENNINGTON, Mass. – The Mount Anthony baseball team Monday jumped out to a seven-run lead in the first inning and went on to a 12-8 win over Mount Greylock.
 
Derek Paris doubled and drove in a pair of runs, and Dylen Harrison drove in two for the Mounties, who rallied with five runs in the top of the seventh to cut into a nine-run deficit.
 
Jameson Bayliss, Jackson Shelsy and Alex Axt split time on the mound for the Mounties.
 
Mount Greylock (1-1) goes to Belchertown on Wednesday.
