Athlete of the Week: Eric Leitch
Junior shortstop Eric Leitch helped the Mounties go 2-0 last week by tearing the cover off the ball with seven hits in two games. He first went 3-for-5 with one RBI and three runs scored in an 18-6 win over Wahconah on Wednesday. He followed that performance up by going 4-for-4 with a double and two RBIs in an 11-3 win over visiting St. Joe's on Friday.Leitch is currently leading the team with eight hits and a .533 batting average as Mount Greylock rides a three-game win streak. He is also second on the team with six runs scored.
