Monument Mountain Baseball Rallies Past Mount Everett

SHEFFIELD, Mass. -- The Monument Mountain baseball team Wednesday rallied for four runs in the top of the sixth to take a six-run lead and went on to a 12-6 win over Mount Everett
 
Camden Raifstanger went 2-for-5 and scored three times for the Spartans. Braxton Crandal went 2-for-4, and Arthur Labrie drove in three runs.
 
Peter Free went 4-⅔ innings on the mound to earn the win. He allowed just one earned run.
 
Mount Everett’s Jack Carpenter homered in three runs, and Ben Shannon went 3-for-4 with an RBI. 
 
Alek Zdziarski took the loss after giving up 11 runs -- six unearned -- in six innings of work.
 
Mount Everett hosts Lee on Friday.
 
Monument Mountain (4-2) is at Mount Greylock on Saturday.
