Nassif, Pittsfield Bounce Back to Beat Longmeadow

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Simon Nassif pitched six innings of shutout ball to lead the Pittsfield baseball team to a 5-0 win over Longmeadow on Saturday at Clapp Park.
 
Anthony Jones drove in two runs, and Kevin Donati and Austin Houghtaling each had a pair of hits for the Generals (9-1), who bounced back after taking their first loss of the season on Thursday.
 
Nassif struck out three and helped his own cause with a hit for Pittsfield.
 
The Generals have a busy week ahead with games on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. It starts when Monument Mountain comes to town on Saturday afternoon.
