Traversa, Generals Blast Southwick

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Joe Traversa hit a triple and two doubles Sunday to lead the Pittsfield baseball team to a 15-0, six-inning win over Southwick.
 
Traversa went 3-for-4, drove in four runs, walked and scored three times.
 
Hunter Potash also doubled in a 2-for-5 day at the plate, and Ian Benoit went 4-for-5 with four RBIs.
 
Carter Matthews earned the win on the mound, going five innings and striking out nine against only one hit and two walks. Josh Bean pitched a scoreless sixth.
 
Pittsfield (13-2) hosts Mount Greylock on Monday.
