Mount Everett Baseball Rallies Past Lenox

SHEFFIELD, Mass. – The Mount Everett baseball team Tuesday scored two runs on an error to complete a four-run seventh-inning rally and earn a 9-8 win over Lenox.
 
Nathaniel Von Ruden had a double, a triple and a home run in the Eagles’ seven hit attack. Grant Chase and Connor Boardman also doubled in the win.
 
The seventh-inning rally started when Tyler Candelari drew a walk. Hunter DeGrenier then singled, and Candelari scored on an error to make it 8-6.
 
Boardman’s double drove in DeGrenier, and Justin Foster reached base on an error to put the winning run aboard. Chase sacrificed the runners to second and third, and Ben Shannon drew a walk to load the bases.
 
Michael Devoti then reached on an error that allowed Boardman and Foster to score to win the game.
 
Michael Butler doubled for Lenox (0-2), which goes to Pioneer Valley on Thursday.
 
Mount Everett (2-1) goes to Mohawk Trail on Thursday.
