DALTON, Mass. -- Gage Frazier struck out seven, walked one and scattered three hits to lead the Wahconah baseball team to a 7-0 win over Sci-Tech on Thursday in the first round of the Western Massachusetts Division 3 tournament.

 

Andrew Beaudoin went 2-for-4 with a double, and Austin Cancilla drove in three runs for fourth-seeded Wahconah (13-8), which moves on to Monday’s sectional quarter-finals.

 

Wahconah will host fifth-seeded Monument Mountain (11-10), a 7-3 winner of Hampshire on Thursday.
