PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Dylan Burke, Anton Lazits and Christian Womble each homered for the Taconic baseball team in a 14-1 win over Lenox on Thursday.

 

Burke and Lazits each went 2-for-3, and Burke and Bo Bramer each drove in three runs.

 

Leo Arace tripled for Taconic, which got six strong innings on the mound from Sam Sherman.

 

Sherman scattered four hits and allowed a run while striking out five to earn the win.

 

Nick Taylor pitched a scoreless seventh.

 

Nick Nicotra singled to drive in Luke Patella in the sixth inning for Lenox (10-8), which hosts Wahconah on Saturday.

 

Taconic (16-1) hosts Hoosac Valley on Saturday.
