SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- Omar Uqdah went 3-for-4 with a double and drove in a pair of runs Tuesday to lead the McCann Tech baseball team to a 4-3 win over Putnam Voc.

 

Andrew Levesque doubled, and Dalton Tatro struck out 11 in a complete-game win on the mound.

 

Putnam had the tying run on base with one out in the bottom of the seventh, but catcher Nick Mroz threw him out trying to steal second base. Tatro then got the third out on a fly ball to Levesque in right.

 

Mroz went 3-for-4 at the plate for McCann Tech.

 

McCann Tech (13-4) hosts Gateway on Wednesday night at Joe Wolfe Field.
