PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Josh Lennon threw five scoreless innings on the mound and went 2-for-2 to help his own cause as the Pittsfield baseball team Monday shut out Drury, 6-0.
Lennon scored twice. On the hill, he struck out three and allowed just three hits.
Chrstian Marchbanks drove in a pair of runs, and Aidan Hillard was 1-for-2 with an RBI for the Generals, who broke open a scoreless game with a four-run third inning.
Drury got hits from Connor Hinkell, Anthony Pettengill and Dylan Crockwell.
Noah Miller, Bailey Alcombright and Amont David split time on the mound for Drury.
The Blue Devils (2-2) host Mount Greylock on Friday.
Pittsfield (3-2) hosts Lenox on Wednesday.
