PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Pittsfield’s Christian Marchbanks Wednesday struck out 11 hitters in a five-inning, complete-game, 12-0 win over Lenox.
Marchbanks gave up just one hit and walked three to earn the win on the mound.
At the plate, Pittsfield was led by Chase Racine and Owen Kroboth.
Kroboth went 2-for-2 with a pair of doubles and two runs batted in. Racine was 2-for-3 with two doubles and three RBIs.
Michael Grady also went 2-for-2 and scored a pair of runs for the Generals.
Brandon Hyte had the lone hit for the Millionaires, who used three different pitchers. Starter Max Shepardson was tagged with the loss after giving up seven runs -- four unearned.
Lenox hosts Wahconah on Friday.
Pittsfield (4-2) is at Hoosac Valley on Sunday.
