PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- The Pittsfield baseball team defeated Mount Greylock Friday afternoon, 2-0, in the Berkshire Classic at Clapp Park.

 

The Generals scored once in the third inning and once in the seventh to secure the win.

 

Sam Fick pitched seven innings for Pittsfield, striking out two, and Ian Brink struck out three in six innings for the Mounties.

 

Mount Greylock finished the regular season with the record of 17-3 and the  Generals finished with a 16-4 record. Both teams have qualified for the Western Massachusetts Tournament and will learn their seeds and next opponents on Monday.
