The Hoosac Valley baseball team outhit Belchertown 9-4, but made six errors on defense and stranded a number of runners in scoring position on its way to a 5-2 loss in the first round of the Western Mass. tournament on Friday.

The Hoosac Valley baseball team put up 15 runs in the first game of their doubleheader on Sunday, but the Hurricanes' bats went cold in the second contest as Brandon Casella scattered six hits to lead St. Joe's to a 3-1 win at Clapp Park.

Junior Tanner Bird had a big day at the plate and on the mound, and the Hoosac Valley baseball team blew up for nine runs in the fourth inning on its way to a 15-3 win over Mount Everett on Sunday.

Senior Nate Alibozek came up with a quality start, but a late error in the bottom of the eighth inning gave the Monument Mountain baseball team a 4-3 win over Hoosac Valley on Saturday.

Seniors Collin Kline and Nick Burzimati combined to hold Lenox to just six hits, and the offense came through with some timely hitting to lift the Hoosac Valley baseball team to a 7-3 win on the road on Thursday.
