MONSON, Mass. -- Evan Rose scored six goals Wednesday to lead the McCann Tech boys lacrosse team to a 17-8 win at Monson.

 

David Delisle and Colby Ghidotti each scored four times for the Hornets, who improved to 2-0 to start the season.

 

"The guys were a little slow in getting started after a long bus ride but really separated themselves in the third and fourth quarters, increasing the lead from four to 11 in the second half," McCann Tech coach Justin Kratz said.

 

Riley Fortini stopped 14 shots to earn the win.

 

McCann Tech hosts Chicopee on Friday.
