Lee Boys Lax Uses Strong Second Half to Down Pittsfield

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- The Lee boys lacrosse team's defense held Pittsfield to just two second-half goals to earn an 18-10 win over the Generals on Monday.
 
Lee went into half-time with a 9-8 lead, but outscored PHS, 9-2 in the last 24 minutes.
 
Brock Baumann scored five goals, and Caleb Kollmer and Homer Winston each had a hat trick in the win.
 
Theo Weidinger made nine saves to earn the win between the pipes.
 
Cody Houghtaling made 16 saves for Pittsfield, which got five goals from Jacob Brazeau and a hat trick from Justin LaBelle.
 
PHS (1-5) hosts McCann Tech on Wednesday at BCC.
 
Lee (4-3) hosts West Springfield on Thursday.
