WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Mount Greylock senior Michael McCormack led the Mounties to victory Friday evening against Wahconah at Mount Greylock High School.

The senior attack totaled 10 goals in their 17-3 win.

The Mounties got an early lead on Wahconah, taking a 13-1 half-time lead on John T. Allen Field.

Wahconah did get some good looks at the goal, but junior goalie Cal Filson was able to hold them to two; freshman goalie Cole Seaman, who replaced Filson in the fourth quarter allowed one.

"We still feel like we're an incomplete team, but we made some strides forward tonight," Greylock coach Brandon Asplundh said. "Wahconah is a much improved team, we are actually proud of the fact of holding them to such few goals."

Liam Chenail, Cole Hughes, and Sean McCormack each had two goals for Greylock and Jonah Kelly had one.

The Mounties (3-0) travel to Taconic on Monday.

Wahconah (1-1) hosts Hoosac Valley on Monday.
