McCormack Scores Six in Return for Mount Greylock Boys Lax

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Michael McCormack returned to action and scored six goals to lead the Mount Greylock boys lacrosse team to a 25-2 win over Taconic on Monday afternoon.
 
McCormack was injured on Saturday and missed most of the Mounties' first loss of the season in Manchester, Vt., against Burr & Burton Academy.
 
On Monday, he added three assists to go with his six goals, which came on just seven shots on goal.
 
Reilly Parker and Liam Chenail each had a hat trick for the Mounties (5-1). Cam Hadley, Thomas Astle and Ross Burnham scored two goals apiece, and Cole Seaman and Cal Filson combined for the win in goal.
 
Brad Cobb and Sal Amaral each scored for Taconic, which got eight saves from Troy Schweitzer.
 
Mount Greylock hosts Hoosac Valley on Tuesday, when Taconic (0-4) heads to Great Barrington to play Monument Mountain.
