Mount Greylock Boys Lacrosse Explodes for 14 Second-Half Goals in Road Win

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- Three players scored four goals apiece Thursday to lead the Mount Greylock boys lacrosse team to a 20-8 win over Pope Francis.
 
Michael Wellspeak, Taylor Cummings and Alex Falk each scored four, and Colin Doyle had a hat trick.
 
The Mounties took control of the game in the second half with 14 goals. The game was scoreless after one quarter, and Mount Greylock led by just two at half-time.
 
Cole Filson stopped nine shots to earn the win between the pipes.
 
Mount Greylock (2-1) is scheduled to go to Manchester, Vt., to face Burr & Burton on Saturday.
