Defensive Stand-out: Jake Foehl

"We earned a hard-fought win on the road tonight. We've developed a bad habit of spotting teams one or two goals. Against Monument we weren't able to make the comeback but in the last two games we've played spirited soccer in the second half to earn the victories."

"We had a good opportunity to scout Wahconah on Friday so we knew what problems they would present us. They started off very well with their finishing, but I was extremely pleased to see us play much better defensively in the second half, which led to the three goals."

"Eric Hirsch had by far his best game of the season. His first goal seemed to light a spark in him, as he was very difficult to handle the rest of the match. His assist to Sam [Dils] on our second goal was a very unselfish play, and it was his hard work that led directly to the own goal. If we can get that kind of effort and production out of Eric every game, opponents will have a very difficult time keeping us off the board."

"Wahconah did a very good job of bunching the middle in the second half so we had to find other routes to the goal. The tie goal and winning goal were scored in similar fashion with long through balls from the back that led a tap-in goal and the own goal. Credit goes to our midfield for making the adjustments."

"We're going to take the day off tomorrow and get ready for a tough stretch of 5 games in 9 days. We really don't need to be playing games that often, but it's the schedule we've been dealt so we'll embrace the challenge."
