WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Michael Wellspeak scored five goals, and Mac Waynick had two goals and five assists Thursday as Mount Greylock defeated Taconic, 18-2.

 

Ben Prescott and Sean Malloy each had a hat trick for the Mounties, who got three saves from the goalie tandem of David Falk and Cole Seaman.

 

Sal Amaral scored twice, and Troy Schweitzer and Cody Houghtaling combined for 24 saves for Taconic (3-12), which goes to Pittsfield on Saturday.

 

Mount Greylock (11-4) hosts Lee on Saturday.
