DALTON, Mass. -- Ernie Lampron scored six goals Friday to lead the Wahconah boys lacrosse team to a 22-3 win over PIttsfield in both teams’ season opener.

 

William O’Neill scored five times, and Caden Padelford scored four goals and assisted on seven more in the win.

 

Joe Massaro and Bryce Smith combined to stop four shots in the Wahconah goal.

 

Cody Houghtaling stopped 18 shots for Pittsfield.

 

Seamus Hayes, Patrick Manning and Marlon Bins scored goals for the Generals.

 

Pittsfield goes to Mount Greylock on Tuesday. Wahconah hosts Hoosac Valley on Tuesda
