Chicopee Comp Girls Lacrosse Tops Hoosac Valley

CHESHIRE, Mass. -- Ava Baron had a hat trick Thursday to lead the Chicopee Comp girls lacrosse team to a 12-7 win over Hoosac Valley in the Hurricanes' regular season finale.
 
Alie Mendel scored four goals, and Brooke DiGennaro scored a pair for Hoosac Valley.
 
Emily Godfrey made seven saves in the loss.
 
Hoosac Valley learns Friday when and against whom it will begin play in the Central/Western Massachusetts tournament.
