Mount Greylock Moves into Sweet 16

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Lexi Politis scored six goals Sunday as the Mount Greylock girls lacrosse team took a back-and-forth, 10-9 victory over Hull in the Division 4 State Tournament.
 
Gianna Pesce scored a pair of goals for the 16th-seeded Mounties (10-9), who advance to face the winner of the first round game between No. 1 Weston and No. 32 Northbridge, a 17-16 winner over Hoosac Valley in the preliminary round on Sunday.
 
Mount Greylock got goals from Addison Abel and Meghan Lagerwall in Sunday’s win.
 
Teigan Brady stopped six shots in the Mounties’ goal to earn the victory between the pipes.
