Phair, DeSantis Lead Lee Girls to Victory

LEE, Mass. -- Meryl Phair scored six goals, and Mikayla DeSantis had four goals and two assists to lead the Lee girls lacrosse team to a 16-7 win over Pittsfield on Wednesday, the Wildcats’ second win over the Generals in as many days.

Annie Macchi scored two goals and had an assist, and McKenna Hammerle, Emma Bartini, Jodi Morawiec and Alexa Tallboy each scored a goal for Lee.

The Wildcats (4-5) got eight saves from the tandem of Bridey Nicotra and Taryn Paul.

Pittsfield got four goals and an assist from Lauren Curry and a pair of goals each from Ali Williamson and Clare Sheedy.

Kristen Borelli made 10 saves for PHS (0-10), which hosts Chicopee Comp next Wednesday.

Lee goes to Monson Friday.
