Mount Greylock Girls Improve to 2-0 With Win Over Lee

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — The Mount Greylock girls lacrosse team jumped out to a 10-goal lead in the first half and held off a Lee rally in the second to earn a 17-6 win on Wednesday evening.
 
Sarah Stripp scored six goals and assisted on another to lead the Mounties (2-0).
 
Clare Sheedy had two goals and three assists, and Carolyn Jones scored three times for Mount Greylock, which got eight saves from keeper Autumn Delorey.
 
Meryl Phair scored twice and added an assist for Lee (0-1).
 
The Wildcats go to Hoosac Valley on Friday.
 
Mount Greylock is at Granby on Saturday.
