Jones Leads Mounties Past Lee

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Carolyn Jones scored four goals Tuesday to lead the Mount Greylock girls lacrosse team to a 15-5 win over Lee on MCLA's Shewcraft Field.
 
Jones, who notched her 100th career point in last week's season opener, moved to 108 points for her career on Tuesday with her 60th goal and 48th assist.
 
Zoe Armet and Emma Stevens each had a hat trick, and Clare Sheedy scored twice for the Mounties.
 
Lee's Lauren Kinne tied for game-high honors with four goals, and Molly Macchi found the back of the net.
 
Taryn Paul made five saves in the Wildcats goal.
 
Autumn Delorey and Jayden Johnson split time between the pipes for Mount Greylock, combining for two saves.
 
The Mounties (2-0) go to Bennington, Vt., to face Mount Anthony on Friday.
 
Lee (0-1) hosts Wahconah on Friday.
