LEE, Mass. -- Hannah Bowlby scored four goals Friday to lead the Wahconah girls lacrosse team to a 15-4 win over Lee.

“Wahconah jumped out to an early five-goal lead and then controlled the ball through most of the remainder of the game,” Lee coach Dave Galisa said. “They passed well and controlled a majority of the ground balls. We also had trouble handling their quickness and passing ability, especially in the midfield.”

Kelcey Lee had a hat trick, and Emily Rueger and Jilly Cote each scored a pair of goals for Wahconah, which got three saves from Sydney Smith.

Taryn Paul stopped 10 shots for Lee. Lauren Kinne scored a pair of goals for the Wildcats.

Lee (0-2) goes to Monson on Wednesday.

Wahconah (1-1) hosts Agawam on Monday.
