Belchertown Girls Lacrosse Tops Lee in OT

LEE, Mass. — Elise Pikul scored on a free position shot in the first minute of overtime to give the Belchertown girls lacrosse team a 13-12, come-from-behind win over Lee on Wednesday.
 
The Orioles, who got four goals from Pikul, scored the last three goals of regulation to force OT and ruin senior day for the Wildcats.
 
Lauren Kinne scored six goals, and Nicole Gamberoni had four for Lee, which got eight saves from Taryn Paul and one from Mike Frasher.
 
Ann Macchi and Molly Macchi each scored a goal in the loss.
 
Lee (6-8) is at Pope Francis on Tuesday.
