NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- On the last day of April, the Hoosac Valley girls lacrosse team secured its place in June’s Central/Western Massachusetts playoffs with a 21-6 win over St. Mary’s at MCLA.

“I’m proud of my girls for clinching a Western Mass spot with today's win,” Hoosac Valley coach Molly Meczywor said. “Everyone contributed in some manner. This team continues to work together towards our vision and purpose and it's exciting seeing them grow as a unit every day.”

Brooke DiGennaro and Claudia Bresett each scored four goals and Kelsey Bulson and Lauren Davis scored two apiece.
