Agawam Girls Lax Downs Wahconah

AGAWAM, Mass. -- Agawam’s’ Izzy Liquori scored seven times to lead her team to a 16-3 win over Wahconah on Friday.

 

Jillian Cote, Bri Kasala and Hannah Ronayne each scored a goal, and Sydney Smith stopped 12 shots for Wahconah (2-1).

 

“Agawam is a top level team,” Wahconah coach Kathy Budaj said. “They move the ball well and swarm in the midfield. It was good for the girls to see that level of play.”

 

Wahconah goes to Mount Greylock on Tuesday.
