DALTON, Mass. -- Erin Gladu scored four goals, and Emma Bowler made 15 saves Monday to lead the West Springfield girls lacrosse team to a 13-3 win over Wahconah.

The Terriers jumped out to a 10-0 lead at half-time and never looked back.

“We came out flat and turned the ball over way too many times,” Wahconah coach Kathy Budaj said. “We have been struggling with maintaining possession and it is hard to win games when you don't have the ball. West Springfield's goalie made some very nice saves and did not let us in the game.”

Suzie Stefanik, Hannah Ronayne and Hannah Bowlby each scored a goal, and Sydney Smith stopped eight shots in goal for Wahconah (8-7), which will try to snap a two-game losing streak on Tuesday at Hoosac Valley.
