Mount Greylock Girls Lacrosse Bounces Back

LEE, Mass. -- Emma Polumbo scored six goals, and Sarah Stripp scored four goals and set up three more Tuesday to lead Mount Greylock to an 18-10 win over Lee.
 
Caroline Flynn and Lauren Howard each scored twice for the Mounties (12-1), who won after suffering their first loss of the year the last time out.
 
Julia Whitney stopped 20 shots to earn the win.
 
Mikayla DeSantis scored six goals, and Emma Bartini had a hat trick for Lee (5-7). Bridey Nicotra and Taryn Paul combined to stop eight shots in the Wildcats’ goal.
 
Lee travels to face Hoosac Valley next Tuesday.
 
Mount Greylock hosts Wahconah on Thursday.
