County Girls Lacrosse Coaches Name Bowlby MVP

Wahconah senior Hannah Bowlby has been named the Berkshire County girls lacrosse most valuable player in a vote of the league's coaches.
 
Bowlby scored a team-high 40 goals and passed out nine assists in leading her squad to a 10-3 record and a Berkshire County Championship this spring.
 
Bowlby also heads up a group of five Wahconah players on the the first team all-league squad.
 
She is joined by midfielders Jilly Cote and Chloe Accardi, defender Catie Ronayne and goalie Sydney Smith.
 
Mount Greylock goalie Christy Rech also made the first team, along with teammates Carolyn Jones and Emma Stevens at attack, Ainsley Abel and Sarah Polumbo at mifield and MacKenzie Sheehy and Delaney Babcock on defense.
 
Other members of the first-team all-league unit include: Hoosac Valley attacks Lauren Davis and Ashlyn Lesure, middie Karyssa Charon and defender Emma Meczywor; and Lee defender Carly McElroy.
 
The Berkshire County girls lacrosse coaches also Wednesday released a second-team all-Berkshire County squad that included: Wahconah's Kaelie Talora and Claire Naef; Pittsfield's Ashley Armstrong, Leighanna Williamson, Sydney Hover, Alyssa Potvin and Savannah Gervais; Lee's Molly Macchi, Brianna Kelly and Abbey Boyd; Mount Greylock's Zoe Armet; and Hoosac Valley's Mallory Mazzeo, Maryn Cappiello and Emily Godfrey.
