Mount Greylock Pulls Away from Pittsfield in Second Half

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — Carolyn Jones scored seven goals Thursday to lead the Mount Greylock girls lacrosse team to a 16-13 victory over Pittsfield.
 
The Mounties led, 9-7, at half-time, but the Generals stormed out of the break with two goals to tie it before Clare Sheedy scored on a free position opportunity to re-establish Mount Greylock's lead.
 
Brook Masse had a hat trick, and Emma Stevens scored twice and set up a goal in the win.
 
The Mounties got seven saves from the goalkeeping tandem of Jayden Johnson and Autumn Delorey.
 
Pittsfield got five goals apiece from Sierra Murray ad Ella Korte. Lily Ouilette made five saves for the Generals (3-8), who host St. Mary's on Friday.
 
Mount Greylock (5-4) host Westfield on Saturday.
