NORTHAMPTON, Mass. – Brooke Harrington had a hat trick Thursday to lead the Wahconah softball team to an 8-7 win over Northampton.

 

“The girls kept their composure tonight leading to a big team win,” Wahconah coach Kathy Budaj said. “The defense did a very good job against some key players. Phalyn [Renderer] made some key stops in net tonight, and our offense connected on some quality shots.”

 

Renderer ended up with 10 saves to earn the win in goal.

 

Danielle Hagmaier scored twice, and Mia Thomas and Anna Doyle each had a goal and an assist. Brooke Thomas added a goal.

 

Wahconah (4-3) goes to Granby on Friday.
